Liverpool crowned champions of Europe, triumphing with the score 2-0 versus Tottenham in the Madrid’s Champions League final at Wanda Metropolitana Stadium.
After a spectacular opening ceremony, lasting about 15 minutes, the final match immediately began rattling.
First minute of the final match Liverpool won a penalty kick, started from Sadio Mane taking advantage of Tottenham midfielder Sissoko who touched the ball and referee Skomina had no doubts about the decision.
From the white spot is Muhammad Salah, who in front of goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, proved to be very accurate and helped the “reds” to the game lead 1-0. This goal caused the game to fall “in calm waters”, for both teams playing very carefully.
Tottenham Spurs went into attack on second half in search of the equalizer goal. However, Liverpool defenders and goalkeeper Alisson were right and did not allow to touch the net.
Just 3 minutes from the end, Liverpool’s Belgian striker, Divock Origi, who after taking a ball in the area, shot beautifully at the corner and defeated French goalkeeper Hugo Lloris for the second time.
The extra time didn’t have any change and so the 2019 final Champions League ended with Liverpool as winner.
Liverpool was in the Champions League final last season in 2018 but lost 3 – 1 versus Real Madrid. Even the “Reds” coach, Jurgen Klopp, declared before the game that he had lost 6 finals in his career and was looking for a success, which he found on the 2019 Champions League final event of June 1, 2019.
This is Liverpool’s 6th Champions League title, which comes 14 years after winning in 2005 in Istanbul in a fantastic finale over Milan.
